These collages were created over a span of approximately seven years. I especially enjoy the collage medium because of the immediacy and spontaneity. It allows me to enter entirely new visual realms well beyond the more traditional media I have worked with over the yeas.

Collage affords me the opportunity to combine the familiar and the strange, to present the multi-faceted prism of time on the two-dimensional surface and create imaginative space and dynamic movement. It allows me to renew my association with existing images and present them in new juxtaposition. I find that I can create art using the many icons I discover and revisit during my meditation and journeys to the unconscious and beyond.
